I. Characteristics

1. Ultra-high melting point and thermal stability: The melting point of tantalum, tungsten, hafnium and zirconium alloy powder is as high as over 3200℃, significantly higher than that of the vast majority of metals and alloy materials.

2. Excellent mechanical properties: At room temperature, the material prepared from this alloy powder exhibits powerful mechanical properties, with tensile strength reaching 1800-2200 mpa and hardness (HV) exceeding 500, far surpassing that of ordinary refractory alloys.

3. Excellent corrosion resistance: Tantalum, tungsten, hafnium and zirconium alloys exhibit extremely strong resistance to a variety of highly corrosive media.

4. Outstanding radiation resistance: Under the strong neutron irradiation environment of nuclear reactors, tantalum-tungsten-hafnium-zirconium alloys exhibit excellent stability.

Ii. Application Fields

1. Aerospace field: In rocket engines, it is used to manufacture key components such as combustion chambers and nozzle throat linings. It can also be used as a thermal protection material for the leading edge, wingtips and other parts of aircraft.

2. Nuclear industry field: Fuel cladding, control rods and core structural components applied to fourth-generation nuclear reactors. In the storage and processing equipment of nuclear waste, this alloy can be used to manufacture corrosion-resistant containers and shielding materials.

3. In the field of electronic information: It serves as a high-temperature diffusion source and sputtering target in the manufacturing process of semiconductor chips. Heat dissipation substrates and packaging shells used for manufacturing high-performance electronic devices.
